About Us...
I started out repairing my, and my friends bicycles, then Go-Karts, Mini Bikes, and Dirt Bikes. Next, I graduated to Drag racing at 16, building and modifying my own and others cars and especially modifying engines. Then, one day it occurred to me to "quit my day job" and do what I loved full time, since I had accumulated quite a few tools and machine equipment by that time. Later on I felt the desire to share my knowledge and experience with others in the form of Professionally writing for magazines in the High Performance Boating and Engine building / machining industry, with over 70 articles, columns, and blurbs to my credit.
Established in 1988...
We officially started this business full time in 1988, after doing it part time since 1969 while Drag Racing and Performance Boating personally and in the employ of others. We eat, sleep, live, and enjoy repairing, and performance modifying all types of engines, both Domestic and Foreign. We love working with our hands, and can often be found after hours working on and modifying our own personal projects. It is great to be able to make a living doing what we love!
